The Best Fudgy Fudge!
I don't know but fudge just has that flavor and texture that makes you want more.
What a better time to get in the kitchen and whip up a batch for this Valentine's Day.
I made a batch up and took some to work to share with co-workers. When we work 12 hr. shifts it sure can put a smile on our faces. The rest of the fudge I placed in an airtight container and put in the freezer for later.
I made a double batch as you can see below.
Fudge is a great way to say

- 3 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine (I used butter)
- 1 small can (5 oz.) evaporated milk (about 2/3 cup) (Do not use sweetened condensed milk.)
- 3 pkg. (4 oz. each) Semi-Sweet Chocolate, (I used 1 bag of Dark Chocolate Chips and 2 bags of Semi-Sweet)
- 1 jar (7 oz.) JET-PUFFED Marshmallow Creme
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup nuts (optional. I didn't use nuts in mine)
- Line 9-inch square pan with aluminum foil, with ends of foil extending over sides. Bring sugar, butter and evaporated milk to full rolling boil in 3-qt. saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook 4 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234°F, stirring constantly. Remove from heat
- Add chocolate and marshmallow creme; stir until melted. Add nuts and vanilla; mix well.Pour into prepared pan; spread to cover the bottom of the pan. Cool completely. Use foil handles to lift fudge from pan before cutting into 1-inch squares.
Hope you enjoy and explore other fudge recipes as there are so many options to making fudge such as adding crushed candy canes, maraschino cherries, peanut butter, etc.
